Grand Design

A few years back a popular Christian recording artist by the name of Jill Phillips came out with a song entitled "Grand Design". As I was listening to my ipod this evening, something I haven't done in almost a year, I began to listen to the words of this song.  After hearing it 3 or 4 times, I cannot think of a song that more greatly encompasses our life at this point in time.  The past week has been filled with moments of heartbreak & frustration along with the relentless fielding of questions to which we have no answers.  But through it all their is an peace that truly surpasses all understanding.  Perhaps the words to this beautiful song describe it best....

"I could start running in anger, but then what’s the point of a Savior 

I feel the pain but it still doesn’t change who You are
Nothing I feel is outside of the reach of Your arms
My whole world could crumble 
but all of the pieces remain
In Your hands that are waiting 
to put them together again"

So for this short post I will let Ms. Phillips do the speaking for me in hopes that you might hear a piece of our heart through her words.  Give the song a listen and be encouraged.
